About the Authors of Joey and Scout:
Jim Boulden met Christy Myhre in 1996 while looking for someone to create an electronic version of his "Conflict Resolution" book, "Give and Take". Christy, the founder of MYHRECO, an industry leading eLearning and eMarketing company, was able to create a highly successful and effective CDROM supplement. Jim and Christy began a long-term relationship to develop additional projects. In 2004, Christy approached Jim with the idea to create a book based on dealing with the loss of a special pet. Christy and Jim have collaborated on all aspects of this book to create this meaningful and useful resource for children faced with the difficulties of dealing with such a dramatic loss.
